This fun, hands-on cooking class takes place in a riverside outdoor kitchen at Waterland Hotel in Negombo.
The cooking class begins at 2:30pm.
Participants use clay pots and bamboo utensils to prepare classic Sri Lankan dishes.
They grind spices on old millstones to unlock exotic flavors.
The group prepares pineapple curry, beetroot curry, dhal masala, cumin rice, gotukola salad, and okra onion masala.
The cooking class ends at about 4:30pm. After the meals, guests savor the meal they have created in our dining pavilion. The dining pavilion's waterfront location and sand floor create a beach vibe.
The cooking class includes water and the guests' choice of beer, Sprite, or Coca Cola.
Wine, cocktails, and mocktails are available at an additional charge.
